Stephanie is from California, born and raised. Her mom and dad are her closest family, and have always supported her in all her goals and dreams. She graduated high school as a junior and has been in and out of college/vocational college consistently ever since. She has held a wide variety of licenses, certificatations, and jobs, which she feels have all been awesome learning experiences that have prepared her for anything!

Stephanie is also a part time care giver for the elderly. She has a fiancé, an 8 year old son, and a 2 year old step-daughter. She loves all animals, and currently has 2 dogs and a snake at her house and her parents keep 3 dogs and 2 cats at their house for her son. Her favorite thing since she moved to Nevada is Lake Tahoe and in her spare time, Stephanie goes hiking/exploring with her family and dogs, and attends as many events/festivals as possible.

Melissa was born and raised in Reno. She is currently a fulltime student studying TMCC to become a Developmental Specialist with a minor in Spanish. She does a lot of volunteer work with the Northern Nevada RAVE Family Foundation. They provide respite care for families caring for special needs children or young adults. This program has lead Melissa to be an active member in our community. She enjoys spending time with friends and family in her free time or watching baseball whenever she gets the chance. Go Giants!

A Los Angeles native and graduate of Northwestern University, Tom began his broadcast career as a 15-year-old news assistant for a Los Angeles radio station owned by singing cowboy star Gene Autry. After college he worked in television in Sacramento and for ABC radio in Chicago and Los Angeles. Tom took a break from broadcasting to manage his friend Jerry Brown’s winning campaigns for secretary of state and then governor of California. He later served as chairman of the California Air Resources Board, Secretary of Environmental Quality and as a member of the governing board of the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency. Tom founded several successful companies before starting Americom Broadcasting in Reno in 1982. The company later operated stations in Las Vegas and Fresno before selling those to concentrate in Northern Nevada. A Reno resident, Tom is married with three children, two step-children and four grandchildren.


Tricia Gallenbeck

Tricia Gallenbeck is a veteran Las Vegas broadcaster who also founded two successful small businesses. Gallenbeck’s father was a career Air Force NCO so she grew up in places like Taiwan, England, France, Spain and Denmark. She graduated from Las Vegas High School and attended UNLV.

Gallenbeck began her broadcast career as a sales account executive for Beasley Broadcast Group in Las Vegas, later was promoted to General Sales Manager and Director of New Business and Events, and then transferred to Beasley’s radio cluster in Fayetteville, NC, as Director of Sales. She has served on the steering committee for the National Association of Broadcasters Radio Show and as a panelist and speaker at NAB conventions.

Tricia and her husband, Tony, have three daughters – Elyssa, Ashley and Jordan – and one young grandson, Braxton.

Heather is a Reno native and graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno with a major in Political Science. She attended Reno High School and also studied abroad as an exchange student in Frieburg, Germany. A champion ice-skater during her teenage years, Heather has years of broadcast marketing experience and special event planning. She enjoys fishing and shares her passion for skating by coaching Nevada's youth.

Carrie joined Reno Media Group more than a decade ago as an account executive. She later served as sales manager of KLCA/Alice and KRNO/Sunny 106.9 (now More-FM) before becoming local sales manager for the entire group. Carrie grew up in Carson City and went on to study marketing and media communications at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and the University of London before returning home to finish her degree at the University of Nevada, Reno. Today, Carrie leads a team of trained and experienced experts and still remains very active in assisting with support of our local clients. She is active in community events and serves on the Renown Health Foundation Board.

Teresa was born and raised in Chester/Lake Almanor, CA and moved to Reno in 1995. After working for many years as an office administrator, in sales support and as head of customer service, Teresa joined Reno Media Group as an account executive. She was promoted to sales manager and is excited to bring her experience, motivation and expertise to help Northern Nevada businesses.

Teresa is married, with three wonderful boys (and a dog), and enjoys watching and playing all types of sports, most importantly when it involves spending time with her family. She is an avid community volunteer with over 13 years of dedication including a past President of Reno Pop Warner football and cheerleading youth organization and currently an active member of the McQueen High School Football Boosters. And a proud supporter of Wolfpack football!

Doug brings over 20 years of diverse advertising experience to Reno Media Group. Most recently, he worked in Texas as an Integrated Sales Manager leading a team in Local and Digital advertising sales. He also was a Digital/Advertising trainer with the same company. He has a passion for helping clients strategically grow their business. He received his Marketing/Advertising degree from Georgia Southern University.

During his spare time he enjoys martial arts, working out and going to movies. He is married and has two sons.

For over 40 years Karl Crass has been involved in broadcasting as on air talent, chief engineer, and marketing executive. A native of Colorado and a Vietnam veteran, he’s experienced working with radio, television and new media platforms. Karl has developed successful marketing plans for small and large businesses in Seattle, Steamboat Springs, CO, Fresno, CA, Lake Tahoe and now in Reno.

Karl has also coordinated and managed regional and national accounts for the nation's top advertising agencies, including J. Walter Thompson, McCann Erickson, BBDO Worldwide and Young and Rubicam. Since his return to Reno several years ago, Karl has been working with local businesses to develop comprehensive broadcast and Internet marketing strategies that maximize their return on investment.

Angela White is a seasoned professional with more than twenty years experience in marketing, advertising, branding and special events. She has a bachelor’s degree in business administration/marketing from UNLV. Her past experience includes working in alumni relations at the University of Nevada and marketing and communications for the Regional Transportation Commission.

In addition, Angela is very active working with non-profit organizations such as the Reno Phil-Pops on the River, the Ronald McDonald House and the Children’s Cabinet.

A native Nevadan who graduated from Reno High School, Frank has been the baseball coach there for the last 12 years. In his spare time he also serves as coach of the Reno Knights Summer Baseball Program.

Frank is an avid chukar hunter with his two golden retrievers, and he enjoys all sports and spending time with friends and family. He’s also a regular at Burning Man. The Reno Media Group staff believes that Frank knows more people in Northern Nevada than anyone else and the only reason he’s not governor or mayor is that he prefers radio!

Jill was born and raised in Southern California and graduated from Cal State University, Fullerton, with a degree in Communications/Advertising. She began her broadcast career at CBS Radio Representitives in Los Angeles, and relocated to Northern Nevada in 1989. Her broadcast career continued in the Reno Market and for over 27 years, Jill has been assisting local clients with their marketing needs.

Jill is married and has two sons and three dogs. In her off-time, Jill enjoys spending time with her family and freinds.

Elyssa was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV and graduated from Silverado High School. After high school, she moved to North Carolina and attended college in Fayetteville, NC. She worked in the service industry for 6 years and loved the constant interaction with new people. After moving back to Nevada in 2016, she wanted a more stable career, so she joined Reno Media Group as the Sales Assistant. She has one amazing four year old son Braxton, and the two love to be active, creative, and laugh together!

Bob was born and raised in San Francisco. In 2005 Bob moved to Nevada with his beautiful wife (Nadine) and children (Devon and Daniel). Bob has 30 years of experience in Quality Systems and Document Control Management. In addition, Bob is currently serving his second term as Lyon County Commissioner. He recently decided to make a career change and came to the Reno Media Group as an Account Executive.

In his spare time, Bob coaches softball at Dayton High School, and travels with his son, Daniel, to International Chili Society cookoffs all over the west coast to compete. He also volunteers with the Large Animal Emergency Response Team out of Lyon County.

Rob was raised in the East Bay area. Rob and his wife Ann moved to Reno in 2005 where they finished raising their 3 sons: Kenny, now a sheriff's deputy in Northern California, Owen, who is beginning a career in the Army and Graysen, who remains in Northern Nevada. He was active in both boy scouts and little league. Rob and Ann are active at Summit Christian Church in Sparks and are currently busy raising 5 young Foster children.

Born in Maine, Paul grew up loving the outdoors and skiing. The family moved to Jacksonville Florida where he spent his teenage years, and went on to graduate from Florida State University.

He has spent the last 30 years in the Food and Beverage/Hospitality Industry doing everything in operations from being a dishwasher to a GM, and has traveled as a Corporate Trainer. He is now taking all his restaurant experience and translating that into his jump into radio.

He moved to Reno in 2007 to enjoy the outdoors, but mostly to ski. He is married and enjoys teaching his son to ski; he manages/coaches his son's baseball team and is involved with cub scouts. Paul enjoys all sports especially the Red Sox, Patriots and his beloved Seminoles. He mostly enjoys spending time in the back yard, camping or doing anything outdoors with the family.

Bill Schulz is a Wisconsin native who now calls Northern Nevada home. Yes, he’s a diehard Green Bay Packers fan. CHEESE HEAD! Bill also enjoys meeting new people in the community, enjoys the outdoors, the Wolf Pack, can often be found eating ribs at the Nugget Rib Cook off and LOVES everything Nevada.

A long-time Californian, Dan worked for broadcast stations in Palm Springs, Monterey and Sacramento before moving to Reno 17 years ago to program KRNO, then known as “Sunny 106.9”. Under his direction, KRNO, now called “More-FM” has continually been the most popular and highest-rated station in Northern Nevada. It’s the longest winning streak in Nevada broadcast history!

Dan wants to help your workday fly by, no matter where you work or what you do. He selects music that keeps you up and feeling good, and he hopes you’ll sometimes sing along. That’s what Dan does, and it’s a good thing the microphone isn’t on! Dan is also in charge of the programming on KBZZ 96.1 FM and 1270AM.

Mike’s a Boston native who’s lived in the West most of his adult life. On his first trip across the Mississippi, he paid a visit to Reno and this is the second time he’s called the “Biggest Little City” home.

Mike has programmed radio stations in Portland, ME, Fresno and San Diego. He was part-owner of bars and restaurants in Palm Springs and Phoenix, and he now programs three of our radio stations: KODS/103.7 The River, Ten Country @ 97.3 and 96.9 The Rodeo. A graduate of Bowdoin College in Maine, he’s been in radio ever since he first walked into the school’s student-run FM radio station. In addition to his programming responsibilities, Mike also supervises our station Website operations.

R.J. Palominos is your morning traffic guy, and one third of the Alice 96.5 Morning Show with Bill and Connie. He's also Rude Boy, on Swag 104.9 from 10am-3pm. Originally from Modesto, CA, Rudy has been in radio since 1999, and he moved to Reno in 2004. He loves Hip-Hop Music and The Hip-Hop culture. He's happily married, and a huge Transformers fan and collector.

Except for a brief interruption to join her husband’s contracting company, Tracy has been in charge of our business office for 20 years. A native of Carlin, NV, she moved to Reno to attend UNR, and she now oversees many of the crucial pieces that glue our crew together. From brightening our day with checks on Pay Day, to ensuring our health is looked after by the best, she effortlessly juggles the important paperwork that keeps things running smoothly while always keeping our best interests at heart.

Tracy is a devoted wife, and she and her husband Steve love watching their son Matthew play football and baseball at McQueen High School.

Tina originally hails from Baltimore but spread her wings across Europe. While enjoying a brief stint in Hungary she met her husband and together they made the trek to Las Vegas. Ten years later they made their way to Reno, where they enjoy the wide variety and beauty of Northern Nevada. Tina and her husband Seth have a beautiful little girl, Teagan.

Born and raised in San Diego, Jessica and her husband, Chris, moved to Reno in 2014 so she could be closer to her identical twin sister, Sara. Jessica worked for The Salvation Army in San Diego, and decided to try Internet and broadcasting when she arrived in Northern Nevada. She and her husband have three cats -- Kali, Trogdor and Special Agent Princess Jack Bauer. In Jessica’s free time, you can find her hunting through local thrift stores or playing video games with her husband.

Jeff Ryan wakes you up every weekday morning on KRNO/106.9 MoreFM with the perfect mix of music, information, traffic updates and fun prizes. At 8am, he kicks off the More Music workday with nonstop, Feel-Good songs that play for 30 minutes at a time.

A Reno radio veteran, Jeff was an announcer and program director of the old K-Wins in the mid-80's before moving to Southern California, where he also worked as a radio program director and DJ. He returned to Reno 15 years ago to head up the KRNO morning show, and several years ago he also became Reno Media Group's production director, where he oversees creation of commercials for our clients. Jeff is married and has one daughter.


Connie Wray

Part of the market-leading Bill and Connie morning show on KLCA/Alice 96.5, Connie moved to Reno from Seattle in 1998 to pursue a career in radio. Her love for the Seattle Seahawks came with her, so you can only imagine how much Bill loves that. Go HAWKS!

Connie began with Reno Media Group as a part-time DJ and traffic reporter, but soon teamed up with Bill Schulz to form what is now Reno’s longest-running morning program. In addition to her on-air work, Connie is also extraordinarily active in the community, where she emcees events (including Pops on the River), hosts on TV, volunteers for Step-2 and even gets into grape fights at the Eldorado’s Great Italian festival. She’s always ready to help a good cause and to have fun! Connie and her husband Blaine have two daughters, Jessie and Story.


Panama

After radio jobs in Houston, St. Louis, Las Vegas, San Jose, Stockton and Sacramento, Panama finally got smart. He moved to Reno! He now hosts the morning show on KODS/103.7 The River, along with co-host Mike Leach. Then every weekday Panama and Mike move across the hall into the CBS Sport studio, where they put on a fast-paced, entertaining, live and local sports talk program. Whether it's an issue close to Northern Nevada or at the Super Bowl, the phones are open and they're talking about it.

Panama looks at things a bit differently than most normal humans, so there's never a lack of attitude. Interviews are always an adventure because no subject or question is off limits. Panama figures that the only other thing he's qualified to do is work on a carnival ride yelling, "Do you wanna go faster?" So, CBS Sports Radio is where you'll find Panama, just saying things you're thinking, or might want to think about.

Mike has been lucky enough to work in the Reno radio market since the late 1990's! He started off running the old "Don & Mike Show" and Giants games, then some on-air sports work, and finally having a great time working with Panama on various formats for about the last 10 years. Mike grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and graduated from college at Chico State University. He's a big sports fan and loves living in the Reno/Tahoe area, especially with legal sports betting in Nevada. Never shy to express his opinion, He loves working in radio and enjoy interacting with our great listening audience.

A Northern Nevada native, Rudy hosts morning on KOLC/Ten Country @ 97.3 and also pulls an afternoon shift on sister station KRNO/106.9 MoreFM. He’s worked in law enforcement and he enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife and their three children. Rudy also rides his motorcycle, fly fishes and skis. He has a passion for raising awareness for children’s cancer and volunteers his time with The Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation.

Amy has a busy life – wife, mom and college professor. But she somehow manages to serve as on-air host every weekend on KRNO/106.9 MoreFM. She lives in Sparks and teaches at both University of Nevada, Reno and Truckee Meadows Community College. Amy and her husband have two daughters, ages six and two. When she’s not broadcasting or teaching, she loves playing, reading, gardening and baking with her girls.

Tony is what you would consider a “music head.” He literally lives, breathes and sleeps music, and it's been like that for as long as he can remember.

Born in Reno but raised in Los Angeles until he was 13, he returned home and has lived in the Biggest Little City ever since. He now hosts the afternoon show on Swag 104.9. In his spare time, Tony writes, produces and researches music in hopes of becoming a music engineer one day. He plans to always give his folks in Reno the best music they deserve!


Jen Grant

Jen was born in Lajolla, CA and raised in the small town of Sonora, CA. She moved to Reno in 2011- where she worked in radio before moving into the medical field. She has had her EMT for 11 years and worked at a local Emergency Room before moving back to Radio.

Jen loves to sing! She has had the honor to sing at NBA games, NHRA Races, and perform for Governors and Presidents in the past. She is the daughter of a fallen officer and holds the position of President for the Northern Nevada Chapter of Concerns Of Police Survivors, a non profit organization that raises funds for police survivors.

Her favorite baseball team is the San Francisco Giants. She LOVES fast cars, motorcycles, animals, dancing, laughing and having a good time with friends and family. She is deathly afraid of heights, snakes and spiders. Jen is married to her husband, Adam, and has two children, Cruz and Isabel.

Laura is a long time journalist, she is a pioneer who started the local news in Spanish in Northern Nevada, with the affiliate UNIVISION back in 1998. She later joined UNIVISION 19 in Sacramento as a TV Reporter/Producer. But then returned back to Reno to anchor and lead the launch of the first news cast in Spanish inside of a mall in Reno. Laura Calzada is well known within the Hispanic community, she has been a master of ceremonies in many local events. Laura also produced and hosted news segments for several radio stations across the nation with Red1 News.

She graduated with a Bachelors Degree on Radio and Television Broadcasting Journalism from California State University in Los Angeles where she started doing news, she also worked as a sports production assistant for the Los Angeles school district TV station and news production assistant for KWHY-22 a local Spanish news cast in LA. Laura loves to dance as she is also a Zumba instructor.

Lori was born and raised in Los Angeles but moved to Dallas to attend Southern Methodist University, where she graduated with a degree in psychology. After graduation she came to Reno and joined Reno Media Group, first in sales and then as traffic director, where she coordinated all commercials on the stations’ logs.

Seven years later she joined the National/Regional sales department, and then assumed responsibility for content of the station websites, her current job. She also updates social media. She and her husband Wayne have one daughter, Kennedy, and live in northwest Reno.


Michelle Eaton

Raised in nearby Gardnerville, Michelle Eaton is our web developer and graphic designer. She attended the University of Nevada, Reno and has worked in computer system administration, technical support, bug and beta testing, graphic design, web design and development, and computer training.

Michelle also has a wide range of hobbies including gaming, sewing, costuming, and making custom costumes and props. She and her husband Michael live in Reno with their three cats: Zuli, Tigs and Zelda. Michelle loves creating websites, graphics, print and digital media, and promotional materials for Reno Media Group and our clients.
